Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed military officers and jawans at the Army War College after arriving by helicopter on Saturday.

Chief of Army General Upendra Trivedi was also present during the visit.

Singh expressed gratitude to the soldiers for their service, saying, “Your dedication and commitment are an inspiration to us all. Because of your hard work, our country and its borders are becoming more secure and powerful.”

Highlighting India’s future goals, Singh said, “Our aim is to make India a developed and self-reliant nation by 2047. The army’s role is crucial in achieving this. You are not just the guardians of our borders but also pioneers in the nation’s development.”

He praised their selfless service, calling it an example of “nishkam karma,” and added, “Your strong shoulders bear the responsibility of protecting our nation and building a developed India.”

Following the address, Singh visited the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial, where he paid floral tributes, offered prayers at the kalash (urns), and viewed photographs displayed at the memorial. Minister of State and MP Savitri Thakur also attended the event.
