Islamabad/New Delhi: While the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir has already created a tense situation between India and Pakistan, now Pakistan has suffered another major setback. Baloch rebels have captured the city of Mangochar in Balochistan province of Pakistan and reported that the Pakistani army has suffered heavy losses in the clash.

A video has also gone viral in which Baloch rebels attack government offices and military camps are seen establishing their impact on the entire city. All this is happening at a time when bilateral relations between India and Pakistan have become tense, and Pakistan has started major military activities along its western border for fear of possible action from India.

Bloody conflict in Mangochar: Deadly attack on Pakistani army

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) directly attacked the Pakistani Army camp in Mangochar. The attack led to heavy firing and explosions in the area. The video, which is going viral on social media, clearly shows the control of rebels on government buildings.

It is being told that many Pakistani soldiers have been killed in this attack and it is also believed that the rebels have captured the arms of the army. According to the BLA claim, he has killed 50 security personnel and brutally murdered 214 hostages. However, the Pakistani government denies these figures and claims that only 18 soldiers and 33 civilians were killed.

Stress became a headache for Pakistan after Pahalgam attack

On April 22, 26 people, including a local guide, were killed in a terrorist attack at Basaron Maidan near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba’s ‘Resistance Front’ has taken responsibility for the attack. However, a few days later he denied his responsibility. Significantly, the attack took place exactly a week after the anti -Hindu statement of Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir, which is why India has taken the matter seriously.

Outbreak in Balochistan, signs of internal instability

In the last few months, militant incidents in Balochistan have increased significantly. On 26 April, 10 paramilitary personnel were killed in an IED blast, which was taken by the BLA. As the next step, a direct fight against the army has now been started in Mangochar. The incident has exposed the shocking weakness of the Pakistani government. It is a matter of shame for Pakistan that the army has been defeated on such a large scale in the western part of the country, and cities have been occupied by rebels.

India-Pakistan stress is a serious condition

The Mangohar incidents and Pahalgam attack have increased diplomatic and military tension between India and Pakistan. While Pakistan has started activities along the border in fear of possible Indian action, internal extremism in Balochistan has raised a big question mark on Pakistan’s military capabilities.

The Pakistani army has virtually lost in Balochistan before the war began, and this has weakened the position of Islamabad internationally. The extremism and Pahalgam attack in Balochistan have once again posed a threat to conflict in South Asia. Now the attention of the whole world focuses on India-Pakistan relations and the next steps of Baloch rebels.
