Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 19-year-old B.Tech student hanged himself to death in his rented room in capital city of Bhopal. The decomposed body was discovered on Friday afternoon by the landlord.
No suicide note has been found at the scene of the crime.
The discovery revealed that the body had begun to decompose. The decomposition implies that the student took this extreme step three to four days ago. The body has been sent for post mortem, and a case has been filed in this regard.
According to information, the victim has been identified as 19-year-old Jahar Rajak, a native of MP’s Chhatarpur district. Rajak was pursuing a B.Tech from Bhopal. He was living in a rented room in Anand Nagar’s Manak Bihar Colony. According to sources, Rajak last had a conversation with his father over the phone complaining about his bank account. This conversation took place on November 1st.
After this call, there was a radio silence between the family and Rajak. His family tried to call him multiple times, but it was all in vain. Finally, on Friday, Rajak’s family requested the landlord to check upon him. When the landlord forced open his door, he found Rajak hanging from a makeshift noose.
Police investigation
When the landlord discovered Rajak’s body, he immediately contacted police. On arrival, police brought down the body and sent it for post mortem after checking for any evidence. After sending the body, a team of the forensics department swept the whole room. No suicide note has been found at the body or in the room. Police have registered a case, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
