DA Hike pensioners due from January 2023 to March 2023 will get cash, while it will be credited to the General Provident Fund account of government employees performing duty. The government claims that this decision will greatly benefit the pensioners and employees of the state.

Pay revision after 9 months

Let us inform that earlier in October 2022, the Rajasthan government had revised the rates of Dearness Allowance of government employees. At that time DA was 381 percent, which was increased (DA Hike) to 396 percent! After this it has now been increased to 412 percent, which is expected to benefit thousands of state employees.

Along with the Government of Rajasthan (Rajasthan DA Hike), the Government of Chhattisgarh has also issued good news for its employees. The Bhupesh Baghel government of the state has increased the Dearness Allowance by 5 percent. With this, now it has increased to 38 percent, while earlier it was 33 percent. The government has reduced the eligibility period for getting full pension from 33 years to 30 years. Along with this, the period of taking VRS has been reduced from 20 years to 17 years. It is estimated that about 3 lakh 80 thousand laborers of the state will be benefited by these decisions.

Government can take a big decision on DA outstanding for 18 months

The case of DA Hike arrears of 18 months of central employees is still pending. Central employees have been demanding for a long time to give the stalled DA from January 2020 to June 2021. It is expected that the government can find a solution by finding a middle way. It is believed that the employees will get bumper benefit from Dearness Allowance.

Now if you look at the pay band 5400 salary at Rs 30,550, then the total annual DA will be Rs 1,68,636 according to 46 percent! Which will currently be Rs 1,53,972. Talking about the difference from the existing Dearness Allowance, there will be an increase of Rs 14,664 in the salary.
