Daughter Of BJP Leader Sobs Claiming Mother Died After Injection Given At Hospital In Kanpur | X
Kanpur: A tragic incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, where a woman BJP leader had complained of leg pain pain, after which her family took her to a private nursing home on Wednesday.
During the treatment, the woman was given an injection. But after some time, the patient’s health deteriorated and she died.
The family of the deceased has now alleged that the patient was given the wrong injection, which led to her death.
The family created ruckus in the nursing home. They claimed that during this time the people of the nursing home also trashed the deceased woman’s daughters when they protested against the wrong treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Sunita Shukla and was taken to Arshiya Hospital in Kalyanpur.
A video of the deceased’s daughter, Richa Shukla, crying and pleading for justice is making rounds on the internet. The daughters alleges that Sunita had pain in her legs and her legs were getting numb. They went to the hospital to get it treated. They could not find a doctor there. The nurse and the compounder saw their mother and immediately took her to the ICU.
She can be heard saying, “The owner of the hospital misbehaved with us and i was subjected to physical assault.”
She further said, Meri mummy ko aspatal walon ne mara dala, bina kisi doctor ke apne untrained staff ko laga ke mummy pe pura experiment kiya. dead body humme handover kar ke kaha pulse chal rahi, humme insaf dilaye.”
Police Reaction
Kanpur police reacting to the matter said, “In the case, information was received on 02.04.2025 at night that a woman had died during treatment. During investigation, the family members of the deceased Mrs. Sunita Shukla told that when her health deteriorated at around 3:30 in the afternoon, she was taken to Ashriya Hospital, from where she was referred to Regency Hospital, where she died. In the investigation so far, no evidence of assault or unpleasant incident with the family members has been found. Necessary legal action is being taken by talking to the victim’s family.”
