Mumbai: In a shocking incident, Rishabh Jewelers in the bustling Saat Rasta area near Mahalaxmi was struck by a daring daylight robbery.

Two unidentified men posing as customers brandished weapons and made off with gold and silver ornaments worth ₹1.92 crore, ₹15,000 in cash, and a Wi-Fi router.

In this case FIR have registered against two unidentified person under Sections: 309(4), 309(6), 331(3)(5) of IPC and Sections 3, 4, 25 of Arms Act.

According to Police, Incident took place on December 29, between 3:30 PM and 3:40 PM. On December 29, at approximately 3:30 PM, two unidentified individuals entered Rishabh Jewelers, located at Laxmidas Wadi, Sane Guruji Marg, Saat Rasta, under the pretext of purchasing jewelry.

The suspects brandished a gun and a knife to threaten the complainant Bhavarlal Dharamchand Jain (50), and employee Puran Kumar.

The robbers tied the victims with ropes and physically assaulted them.

Then, They looted Gold ornaments 2,458 grams, worth ₹1.91 crore, Silver ornaments 2,200 grams, worth ₹1.77 lakh and Cash ₹15,000 with A Wi-Fi router.

Agripada police have registered a case against the unidentified suspects. CCTV footage from the shop is being analyzed for leads.

The Crime Branch has also launched a parallel investigation with 5-6 dedicated teams to apprehend the culprits. The robbers assaulted the shop owner and an employee, tied them up, and fled the scene.

The complainant, Bhavarlal Dharamchand Jain (50), a businessman residing in Chinchpokli, reported that the incident occurred around 3:30 PM on Sunday.

The assailants entered the shop at Laxmidas Wadi on Sane Guruji Marg under the pretense of purchasing jewelry. They quickly pulled out a gun and a knife, threatened Jain and his employee, Puran Kumar, and bound them with ropes, warning them of dire consequences if they resisted.

Agripada police responded swiftly and secured CCTV footage from the shop, which is being closely analyzed for leads. Meanwhile, the Crime Branch has launched a parallel investigation to bring the suspects to justice.
