Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The fake cardiologist named ‘Dr. Narendra John Kem,’ who performed 15 heart surgeries without legal licence, was arrested by Uttar Pradesh police in Prayagraj on Sunday evening, as confirmed by Damoh SP Shrut Kirti Somvanshi.
According to reports, seven patients died after heart surgeries at the Damoh’s Mission Hospital. Dr. Narendra Kem is accused of treating these patients despite allegedly using fake medical degrees to practice medicine.
An FIR was registered against the accused late on Sunday night at the Kotwali police station by Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Mukesh Jain. The FIR names Kem, alias Narendra Yadav, along with two other accused.
