In accordance with Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Daman has issued an order to close all beaches in Daman District to both tourists and local residents on March 29, 2025, from 6:00 AM onwards.
This temporary closure aims to facilitate an effective beach cleaning drive, ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for visitors. Any violation of this order will be subject to legal action under the prevailing laws.
As it is not possible to notify each individual directly, this announcement has been made public for the awareness of all concerned.
