Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra on 20 November. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a big rally in Dadar, Mumbai on Thursday (14 November), although Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and other senior leaders of his party did not attend the rally. Apart from Ajit Pawar’s party, all the candidates of Mahayuti including Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and Ramdas Athawale led Republican Party of India (RPI) were present during the rally. Now many kinds of speculations regarding Ajit Pawar have gained momentum.
PM Modi attacked the opposition
Attacking the opposition during the rally, PM Modi said, ‘The people of Mahavikas Aghadi have become slaves of appeasement. This is the same Aghadi which opposes Ram temple. Saffron uses words like terrorism. Resolution passed to restore Article 370 in Kashmir, today is my last public meeting for Maharashtra Assembly elections. I have interacted with people from all walks of life. The blessings of entire Maharashtra are with Mahayuti today.
Congress is thirsty like a fish without water
Prime Minister Modi said, ‘The people of Mahavikas Aghadi consider their party above the country. When India prospers, Aghadi people suffer. These people raise questions on India’s achievements. People of Aghadi are making people fight in the name of caste. Congress is thirsty to form the government like a fish out of water.
