The truck was parked outside Trump’s hotel
Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill told media that the electric vehicle had reached the glass entry gate of the Trump International Hotel before the explosion. In the video footage, a stainless steel truck parked at the entrance of the hotel suddenly burst into flames.
Musk said- this explosion is related to the New Orleans incident
One person inside the Cybertruck died, McMahill said. While seven people suffered minor injuries. Tesla CEO Elon Musk alleged a link between the Cybertruck explosion outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas and a similar attack in New Orleans. He said both the vehicles were rented from the same car rental site, Turo.
Musk’s claim of terrorist attack
Musk says that the explosion was caused by a bomb kept in the cyber truck. Musk wrote on X that it seems this could be a terrorist act. Both the Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomber in New Orleans were leased from Turo.
