Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The culture department is showcasing the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh in Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj which will begin form January 13. ‘Madhya Pradesh Mandap’ is being prepared by the department at Sector-7 of the Kumbh Mela premises, in which the artists of the state are being given an opportunity to show their devotion every day.

Seating arrangements for the audience and spectators, exhibition of spiritual topics, films prepared by the department will be shown through LED. Besides, a stage displaying Ahilya ghat has also been prepared to mark the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilya Bai.

The department will organise presentations of Maa Narmada and Ganga Aartifrom 12 noon to 10 pm every day from 13 January to 26 February. ‘Kumbh Calendar’ is also being published by the Culture Department for Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj.

Ekatma Dham Camp’ inaugurated

‘Ekatma Dham Camp,’ by Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas was inaugurated by Anandmurti Guru, head of Rishi Chaitanya Ashram at Prayagraj Maha Kumbh on Sunday. She gave discourses on ‘Drig-Drishya Vivek’ composed by Acharya Shankar.

A large number of listeners from the country and abroad, including saints and sages, were present. The camp has been set up in three acres here with the aim of popularising the Advaita Vedanta philosophy and the concept of universal unity.
