Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSJMU) has decided to introduce 32 new courses from the academic session 2025-26. These will include many modern and commercial courses including forensic science, Vedic mathematics, clinical psychology, foreign languages. Apart from this, now LLM will now have one year old studies instead of two years, which will be run on the lines of National Law University (NLU).
This important decision was taken at the meeting of the Academic Council of the University on Friday, headed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak did. Several other important decisions were also taken in the meeting, which approved to increase seats of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, set up new music and sports academy and implement the international faculty program.
LLM studies will now be one year old
Now the LLM (Master of Law) course in CSJMU will be of one year, which used to be two years old. This change will give students a chance to make a career in a fast legal sector.
Other new courses and changes
CSJMU is launching many new subjects keeping in mind the global competition and modern education system.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak said:
