The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2024 registration window will close tomorrow, December 30, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who meet the requirements can apply online at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Candidates can choose their favourite language throughout the application process because the exam will be offered in both Hindi and English.

Registration Deadline: December 30, 2024

Correction Window: December 31, 2024, to January 2, 2025

Exam Dates: February 16 to 28, 2025

How to register:

Step 1: Visit csirnet.nta.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the “CSIR NET December 2024 Registration” option.

Step 3: Provide the necessary information on the application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fees and upload the necessary files.

Step 5: Download and take a print out of the CSIR UGC NET 2024 December Registration confirmation paper for your records.

The purpose of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination in December 2024 is to determine whether Indian nationals are eligible to receive a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), be appointed as an Assistant Professor, be admitted to Ph.D. programs, or be admitted to Indian universities and colleges solely for Ph.D. programs. The test will be administered as a computer-based test (CBT).
