Price of petrol and diesel: Crude oil has come down to $ 60 per barrel. In such a situation, the prices of petrol and diesel are expected to decrease once again. Petrol and diesel can be cheaper due to fall in crude oil prices. Meanwhile, oil marketing companies have updated petrol and diesel rates.
Despite the fall in crude oil prices, there has been no change in the rates of petrol and diesel anywhere in the country. Even today, the cheapest petrol and diesel port in India are found in Port Blair. Here the price of petrol is 82.46 and the price of diesel is 78.05 per liter. While petrol in Delhi is stable at Rs 94.77 and diesel at Rs 87.67.
What is the cost of crude oil?
OPEC+, a group of oil producing countries, has recently decided to increase the supply of crude oil, causing a decline in crude oil prices in the global market. American crude oil (WTI) prices declined by 4%. On the other hand, Brent crude fell 3.79 percent to $ 58.79 per barrel. This means that prices are under pressure due to increase in crude oil supply globally.
