Meanwhile, the Indian government has made negative RT-PCR reports mandatory for passengers arriving from China and five other destinations from the new year. In this regard, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has shared the information by tweeting.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that from January 1, 2023, RT-PCR test has been made mandatory for passengers coming from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand. They have to upload their report on Air Suvidha portal before travel. In this connection, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will visit Delhi Airport on Thursday. Testing and screening facilities will be inspected.
Along with this, according to sources, in the last two days, 6,000 passengers who came from abroad were tested for coronavirus, out of which 39 were found infected with coronavirus and were isolated.
