Ingredients to make Corn Flour Halwa:
- Ghee: ½ cup
- Semolina: 1 tablespoon
- Gram flour: 1 tablespoon
- Corn flour: 1 cup
- Chopped nuts: a handful
- Cardamom powder: a pinch
- Rose water: 1 tablespoon
To make halwa syrup:
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Water: 1 cup
Method of making corn flour pudding:
- prepare syrup: First of all, add sugar and water in a pan and boil it. When the syrup is ready, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- heat ghee: Heat another pan and add ghee in it.
- Fry suji and gram flour: When the ghee becomes hot, add semolina and gram flour and fry on medium flame until the aroma of gram flour starts coming out.
- add corn flour: Then add corn flour to it and fry until its color becomes dark brown.
- mix syrup: Add thin syrup to the roasted flour and cook on low flame until the halwa absorbs all the syrup.
- Add dry fruits and rose water: Now add chopped nuts and a little rose water to it.
