Cops Save Man Attempting Suicide In A Hotel Room

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Misrod police have rescued a man who locked himself inside a hotel room and consumed multiple sedative tablets in a bid to commit suicide on Friday night, said police. Cops broke open the door and rushed the man to the hospital, he is currently undergoing treatment.

ACP Misrod Rajnish Kaul said the man has been identified as Ashish Rajput (52), a resident of Bagsewania area. Preliminary investigations suggest that Rajput, who was upset over some domestic issues, reached a hotel room and called his friend before taking the extreme step.

It was on the information of his friend that police rushed to the spot and rescued the man, ACP added. Meanwhile, police sources claimed that the victim is a close relative of a politician.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) has appointed 10 new doctors to various departments. Seven of these doctors have joined on permanent faculty positions, while three will serve on specialist posts.

The departments in which doctors have been appointed include Pulmonary Medicine, Cardiology, CTVS, Urology, Transfusion Medicine, Neurosurgery, Microbiology.

Besides, doctors have joined as specialists in department include Health Centre number- 8, and Ophthalmology Dr Manisha Shrivastava, director in-charge, BMHRC, said, “Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) recently appointed these doctors to various positions, and they have now assumed their duties.”
