Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Madhya Pradesh annual session witnessed a leadership transition with IT professional Siddharth Sethi being elected as chairman and Siddharth Chaturvedi as vice-chairman of the CII State Council for 2025-26.

Sethi is the co-founder of InfoBeans Ltd, while Chaturvedi serves as the EVP at AISECT Ltd.

The session featured a high-powered conference on ‘Global Recognition, Local Impact: Inclusive Growth for a Developed Madhya Pradesh’. Principal secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Raghwendra Kumar Singh, addressed industrialists, highlighting the state’s newly launched policies.

He said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state to implement the GCC policy, while incentives under the MSME policy have been expanded to investments up to Rs 83 crore. Moreover, investment promotion capping has been raised to Rs 200 crore, providing a major boost to businesses. A panel discussion explored the opportunities and challenges in MP’s industrial landscape.

Experts agreed that an integrated approach to skill development at the district level and a strong push for the “One District One Product” (ODOP) initiative would be key to fostering inclusive growth. The event concluded with a special session featuring actor and motivational speaker Ashish Vidyarthi, who delivered an inspiring address on “Jab Tak Hai Saans, Karenge Kuch Khaas.”
