  • The land acquisition process will start soon.

Ring road expansion plan

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is considering expanding the project from Delhi bypass to Ajmer bypass.

  • A new DPR will be created for this.
  • Under this project, land of 294 villages will be acquired.
  • The land acquisition process is likely to be completed in two to three months.

Steps being taken to reduce heavy traffic

NHAI Project Director Ajay Arya said that the ring road up to Ajmer bypass is being considered so that the pressure of heavy vehicles in Jaipur city can be reduced.

  • Heavy traffic passing between the growing population of Jaipur and the colonies is causing trouble for the people.
  • The construction of this ring road will reduce the traffic congestion inside the city.

Which tehsils will be acquired?

A Khasravar report has been sought from the District Collector for this project. NHAI has prepared a list of villages for land acquisition in the following tehsils:

  • Sanganer Tehsil – 32 villages
  • Phulera Tehsil – 21 Villages
  • Maujmabad Tehsil – 12 villages
  • Kishangarh-Renwal Tehsil-4 villages
  • Kalwar Tehsil – 12 villages
  • Jamwaramgarh Tehsil – 60 villages
  • Jaipur Tehsil – 36 villages
  • Chaumu Tehsil – 14 Villages
  • Bassi Tehsil – 13 Villages
  • Amer Tehsil – 90 villages

Ring road length and width

  • The total length of the ring road will be more than 110 km.
  • A 45 km long corridor will be built from Bagrana to Achrol.
  • A 90 meter wide six -lane transport corridor will be developed.
  • NHAI itself will construct a 90 meter wide corridor, while the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) will look into the work of the 145–145 meter wide development corridor.

Traffic will get a big benefit due to the formation of ring road

Currently, traffic between Agra Road to Delhi Road and Delhi Road to Agra Road has to pass through Transport Nagar, Ramgarh Mode, Ghat in Ghat and Kukas.

  • There is excessive traffic pressure on Delhi bypass and Jaipur Transport Nagar.
  • After the construction of the ring road, traffic flows around the Aravalli hills will be smooth, which will reduce congestion in the main areas of the city.
