The process of construction of the proposed ring road around Bareilly city in Uttar Pradesh has intensified. The National Highway Authority (NHAI) has given financial approval to the project, and land acquisition work will be started soon. The government has also clarified that farmers will be provided compensation within a month. Under this project, 32 km long ring road will be constructed, in which Rs 800 crore will be spent on land acquisition.
Fourlane Outer Ring Road: Construction will be done in two phases
This ring road will be constructed in two phases:
- Chaubari Mustakil to Rajau Paraspur – 13 km
- From Dhantia to Chaubari Mustakil – 19.2 km
Now the final approval for the construction work is expected, which will further speed the development of Bareilly city.
185 hectares of land will be acquired
185 hectares of land from 32 villages will be acquired for the construction of ring road.
