Constitution As Sacred As Religious Texts: Minister Rao Uday Pratap | Addressing the gathering, Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh spoke on sanctity of the Constitution

Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): A seminar was organised at District BJP office under the Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan to honour Dr BR Ambedkar’s ideology and contribution to Indian society. The event began with a floral tribute and lamp lighting followed by Vandana Dubey’s rendition of Vande Mataram.

Addressing the gathering, Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh spoke on sanctity of the Constitution, comparing it to revered texts like the Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and Ramcharitmanas.

“The Constitution is not just a legal document, but an ideal guiding our lives. Like holy scriptures, it deserves reverence,” he said. He highlighted Dr Ambedkar’s vision of equality, justice, and liberty as central to India’s identity.

Former Corporation Chairman Shailendra Sharma affirmed the BJP’s commitment to Ambedkar’s legacy, crediting the Modi government for initiatives like the development of Panchtirtha and national-level celebrations of Ambedkar Jayanti.

District President Preeti Shukla led a collective reading of the Constitution’s Preamble. The seminar coordinated by Mukesh Chandra Maina ended with a vote of thanks by Pipariya MLA Thakurdas Nagvanshi.

Other dignitaries present included Amit Mahala, Raju Bakoria, Madhavdas Agarwal, and Abhayram Chaudhary.
