Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Opposition walked out during Zero Hour in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Monday over the fertilizer crisis. Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar alleged that farmers are not receiving fertilizer, causing delays in sowing.

Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar clarified that the issue was listed for discussion later, but the Opposition persisted, raising slogans against the state government before walking out.

Earlier, the Assembly paid tributes to former MLAs and other notable personalities, after which Speaker Tomar adjourned the session for 10 minutes.
