Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A day after Congress tried to corner the BJP government over the OBC reservation issue, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the government’s stance on OBC reservations is clear.
The government remains committed to providing 27 percent reservation to OBCs.
He mentioned that he had even spoken to the Solicitor General regarding this matter. “Along with the examination of the OBC Commission of the previous government, we are also interacting with all those who have filed petitions related to OBC reservation,” he said.
He emphasized that the government is moving ahead with a focus on the welfare of all. Notably, the issue of providing 27 percent reservation to OBCs is currently pending in court.
CM Takes Jibe At Rahul Gandhi
CM Mohan Yadav also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi for making a scathing attack against the Modi government during his foreign tour, stating that Rahul has a habit of maligning the image of the country on foreign soil.
He said, “If Rahul wants to do politics, he should do it within the country. As a Member of Parliament, he should address matters within Parliament.” He added, “There is no other leader in the world who does such things. Congress leaders should control Rahul Gandhi.”
