Bengaluru: Famous actress Rashmika Mandana is in the news these days for her upcoming film Chhava. While fans are praising their performance fiercely, on the other hand some people are also trolling Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandana. But in the meantime a big controversy has arisen.

According to reports, Congress MLA Ravi Kumar Ganiga has made sharp remarks against Rashmika Mandana. He said that Rashmika has insulted the Karnataka film industry and the actors there, not attending the Bengaluru International Film Festival, and for this she will have to teach a lesson.

Why did Congress MLAs get angry?

Recently the International Film Festival was organized in Bangalore. The presence of film stars at the inauguration ceremony of this big event was extremely low, which angered Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar. He believed that big stars associated with the Kannada film industry must have come to this event.

Raising the same issue, Congress MLA Ravi Kumar Ganiga also expressed his displeasure and targeted Rashika Mandana. He supported DK Shivkumar and said,

“Rashmika Mandana was invited for the International Film Festival, but she refused to come. This is a very egoistic attitude. She started her career with the Kannada film industry, but now she is ignoring it. ”

‘Rashmika is showing ego’ – MLA’s statement

Ravi Kumar Ganiga further said that his MLA friend himself had gone to Rashmika’s house and also wrote several letters to invite her to the film festival, but Rashika did not respond. He called it Rashmika’s ego and said,

“Rashmika grew up in Karnataka, she stepped into the film industry from here, but now when the time to honor her, she is running away. This is not correct.”

Not only this, he also said that he would write a letter to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and appeal to review the subsidy given to the film industry. He believes that if the actors of the Kannada film industry themselves get away from their roots, then the state government should also stop paying attention to them.

No response from Rashmika Mandana

So far no official statement has come from Rashika Mandana on this whole matter. However, this is not the first time she has come under target of artists and leaders of Kannada film industry. Earlier, some people had accused him of ignoring the Kannada film industry.

Will this controversy affect Rashika’s film ‘Chhava’?

Rashmika Mandana is currently busy with her upcoming film ‘Chhava’, in which she will be seen with Vicky Kaushal. The film is based on the story of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and fans are very excited about it.

However, due to this controversy, it will be interesting to see if it has any effect on their image and film or the dispute will soon calm down.
