Congress’ general conference will be held in Belagavi, Karnataka. It seems as if BJP has found an issue first. The map of India is shown in the posters put up in the city for the Belagavi Congress conference. But some part of Kashmir is missing from the map. Seeing such posters in Belagavi, BJP raised the issue. It is noteworthy that a meeting of Congress Working Committee (CWC) was held in Belagavi, Karnataka. A meeting has been planned on 26 and 27 December.
Congress is dreaming of breaking India
BJP leaders have expressed strong objection to this incident. While addressing a press conference on Thursday, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi fiercely targeted the Congress. Kashmir is not included in the map of India made in this poster. Commenting, he said that Congress has an alliance with the forces which are dividing India into pieces. This map (on the banner) shows it clearly. Congress has spoiled the map of India many times before. Tampering with the map of India will not be tolerated. This has exposed the anti-national face of Congress. Congress is dreaming of breaking India.
Telangana BJP shared the picture
Telangana BJP has posted the picture of this distorted poster. Posting the picture, Telangana BJP wrote, “The official poster put up for the Congress CWC (Commission with Collection) meeting shows a distorted map of India, showing Kashmir as part of Pakistan. To please his patron Soros. Congress Party National Security and Integrity.” By resolving the issue, the people of the country will teach Congress a lesson for this treason. The session will last for two days.
When was the conference held before this?
Importantly, the historic session of the Congress was held on 26 and 27 December 1924 and is remembered as a significant moment in the Indian freedom struggle. During this session, Gandhi appealed to Rentia to rotate the Sutta. The main organizer of the historic conference was Gangadhar Rao Deshpande, known as the Khadi Bhagiratha of Karnataka. He was a pioneer of the freedom struggle in Belagavi. Belagavi was then known as Belgaum. Deshpande played an important role in organizing the Belgaum Congress Conference, which was presided over by Gandhiji.
