Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): People from different parts of the state reached CM’s residence on Monday under the impression that Janata Darbar would be held. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has decided to start Janata Darbar, but its date is yet to be finalised.
As there were reports that Janata Darbar would start from January 6, many people reached CM’s residence to get their problems solved. The officers took the applications of those people who came to the CM’s residence and assured them of solving their problems.
But they were unhappy, for they were unable to meet Yadav. People from Guna, Ashoknagar, Narmadapuram, Maihar and Sehore reached the CM’s residence. A farmer from Sehore brought a Safa and a plough to present them toYadav. Lack of roads is a major problem in the areas from where these farmers came.
Most of the issues the people wanted to bring to the Chief Minister’s notice at Janata Darbar were related to Home and Revenue departments. Some of them had the complaints that the murderers of their relatives were not arrested, and that local thugs usurped their land.
Participants have to register their names first
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is about to start Janata Darbar, but nobody will be allowed to come directly with their complaints. A portal has been set up for it. Besides the portal, the officials are making preparations to set up some other means through which people can submit their complaints. They will be allowed to take part in Janata Darbar only after they register their plaints. The government is mulling over the structure of the proposed Janata Darbar.
