CM removed security of Shinde faction leaders
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has home department. This Home Department has stressed the Eknath Shinde faction. The Home Department of Devendra Fadnavis has reduced the security of more than 20 Shiv Sena MLAs of Shinde faction. These are the MLAs who are not ministers. Their security has been reduced from Y+ category to only one constable. Not only this, the security given to some other Shiv Sena leaders has also been withdrawn. When the MLAs of Shinde camp left the Uddhav faction, all of them were given Y category security.
Are Shinde faction cut on the MLAs of the group?
The Fadnavis government has withdrawn the security of BJP and NCP leaders led by Ajit Pawar, along with the shrinking of 20 MLAs of Shinde faction. But Shinde army soldiers are more in this process. Shiv Sena MLAs and MPs under the leadership of Eknath Shinde were given a Y-security cover in October 2022. The decision was taken a few months after a rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray. Now the security of most MLAs has been reduced except Shinde Sena ministers, while the security of former MPs has been withdrawn.
