In an age dominated by emails and digital documents, receiving a handwritten letter hits differently and fills us up with unique warmth. Don’t you agree? A handwritten note drafted from a restaurant kitchen to a customer has recently gone viral.
The message rolled out from an eatery named ‘Good Bowl’ and it talked about a chef named Nisha. The note, written on a pink paper, introduced Nisha as not just a cook but also a college student working hard to support a family of three.
Take a look at the Reddit post below
“Nisha is not just a chef…”
The handwritten piece highlighted Nisha’s dedication, stating that she never serves food without a smile, despite juggling between work, studies and her family life. The kitchen team encouraged the customer to acknowledge her, not really with cash but a heartfelt thumbs up. The note requested the customer to leave a five-star rating and give a shout-out if they enjoyed their meal.
“Nisha is not just a chef, but also a student studying college, to support her* family of 3, but never without a smile! Please give her a 5 star. Shout-out if you like your* food”, the note read with a few grammar mistakes.
Internet reacts

A Reddit user ‘Pavi’ shared the post online and called it a “sweet little note”.
However, the note didn’t receive much admiration on social media. Netizens believed it could be “fake” and a mere marketing gimmick.
“I don’t know where you live, but I got the same note here in Chennai …. Just a marketing tactic by Rebel foods. Stop believing everything and being naive maybe?”, a user commented on the Reddit post. “The same text with different name. Kaveri amma in hyd”, wrote another.
