Reacting to the situation, FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X, “We know President Trump by former FBI Director James Comi recently about the social media post. Trump shot in ear during an election rally
The development took place in the US about a year after the security incident. On July 13, 2024, while giving a speech during an election rally at Butler, Pennsylvania, an attacker was shot in Donald Trump’s right ear. The bullet hit the upper part of his ear, injuring them. Trump was immediately rushed to the hospital and was later discharged in a stable condition.
One person was also killed in the shootout, while two others were injured. The attacker was killed on the spot by the sniper of Secret Service. The then President Joe Biden condemned the incident, saying that “there is no place for such violence in America.”
