Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is reaching Kanpur today before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed Kanpur visit to Kanpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inspect a total of four major places including Ghatampur and Panki Power Plant. Before the visit of Chief Minister Yogi, District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh inspected all the sites on Saturday.

- 12:10 pm: Helicopter inspected Neveli Power Plant Ghatampur (650 MW)
- 01:05 pm: Inspection of Panki Power Plant (660 MW)
- 01:45 pm: Travel by metro rail from Nayaganj underground metro station
- 02:00 pm: Rawatpur metro station arrival
- 02:10 pm: Participation in the wedding ceremony of Legislative Council member Manvendra Singh
- 02:35 pm: Chandrashekhar Azad Inspection of Prime Minister’s public meeting at the University of Agriculture and Technology
- 03:10 pm: Review meeting in university committee hall
- 03:50 PM: Departure for Lucknow by helicopter
The purpose of CM Yogi’s visit
CM Yogi will take stock of the preparations for a total of 225 development projects of Rs 19,728 crore in Kanpur. These include large projects like Metro Rail, Ghatampur and Panki Power Plants. During this time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself will travel in the metro and inspect the facilities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanpur for the first time after becoming Prime Minister for the third time on 24 April. PM Modi will also inaugurate two big power plants with five new stations of Metro here.
