Mahakumbh 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (27 February), giving credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful organization of Mahakumbh 2025. Speaking at the police honor ceremony, Chief Minister Yogi praised the police personnel posted in Mahakumbh and announced them to give them a week’s holiday. This holiday will be given to policemen on duty in different stages. He said, ‘Kumbh medal and praise letter will also be given to police personnel on duty. Along with this, a bonus of 10 thousand will also be given to the officers posted here.
He said, ‘I congratulate the police officers. The larger the challenge, the greater you will reach the heights. There were two ways to solve this problem and there was a way to solve it. We thought of a solution rather than the problem. 7 thousand crores spent, 3.5 crore income. Kumbh has proved this. I used to see 2700 to 3000 thousand cameras. Every day 20 to 25 million devotees come and so far 66 crore people have come.
He said, ‘The recruitment of police personnel was pending, there was stay in court. Then under the transparent system, I put it forward by giving an affidavit in the court. Since then, we have recruited 1 lakh 56 thousand policemen. We are going to recruit 30 thousand more people. Whenever a pandal caught fire, it was controlled within 10 minutes. There was no death or accident due to drowning. This tragedy occurred on the day of Mauni Mauni Amavasya and the green corridor made for all the injured was commendable. Everyone, including all the akharas, knows how mob management is done.
