Ayodhya: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday emphasized the need for comprehensive arrangements in Ayodhya to accommodate the influx of devotees expected during the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025.
With an estimated 40-45 crore pilgrims anticipated to attend the Kumbh and many likely to visit Ayodhya, the CM directed the local administration to ensure a seamless experience for all visitors.
“Devotees visiting Ayodhya during the cold season must not face any inconvenience,” said the Chief Minister. He stressed the importance of safety, crowd management, cleanliness, worship arrangements, and adequate shelter facilities, especially during the winter months. He also called for provisions such as bonfires to keep pilgrims warm.
The CM conducted a review meeting at Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University in Kumarganj, where he sought updates from senior officials on preparations. These included measures for the security of devotees, crowd control, and lodging facilities.
He underlined the significance of maintaining the sanctity of Ayodhya’s key religious sites, such as Ramlala, Hanumangarhi, and Suryakund, which are expected to draw a large number of pilgrims.
During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal presented a detailed report on the preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025 in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister reviewed the plans and issued instructions to ensure smooth operations. The session was attended by senior district officials, police personnel, and local administration representatives.
The CM’s visit also included interactions with BJP workers, during which he reiterated his commitment to upholding Ayodhya’s spiritual significance and providing a welcoming environment for devotees.
