Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Florian Hermann, head of Bavarian State Chancellery and Minister of State for Federal and European Affairs and Media have explored opportunities for German experts to bring technology to Madhya Pradesh. Yadav arrived at Munich on Thursday.

The meeting focused on exploring various business opportunities. Yadav said the cooperation between Germany and MP would open new doors to industrial development. In discussions with Herrmann, Yadav had explored opportunities for German experts to bring technology to Madhya Pradesh. The two countries, through mutual coordination, will set up new benchmarks for industrial growth in MP He noted that Germany has a long-standing relationship with India, and its civilization is known for its unique approach to development.

During the discussion, both Yadav and Herrmann expressed commitment to strengthening state-level partnerships in line with the growing Indo-German relations under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders discussed potential areas of cooperation, including technological innovation, supercomputing, the automotive sector, aeronautics, and space technology. Yadav was deeply impressed by the German delegation’s time management skills. He said, “Those who conquer time can conquer the world.”

He praised Germany’s economic resilience and transformation as an inspiring model of national development and strategic progress. Both sides viewed the meeting as the beginning of a long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationship between MP and Bavaria. Yadav emphasised the importance of addressing climate policy challenges, promoting technological innovations, fostering higher education exchange programmes, facilitating technology transfer, and creating job opportunities for the citizens of MP.

The Chief Minister also discussed the plan to establish a dedicated state government liaison office in Madhya Pradesh to facilitate smoother coordination with existing German investments in Mandideep and Pithampur. Yadav announced plans to establish a German language institute in MP to overcome the language barrier. This institute will help bridge the linguistic gap, facilitating smoother communication between MP and German officials.
