Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is spearheading Madhya Pradesh’s efforts to attract global investments ahead of the Global Investors Summit (GIS), scheduled for February 24-25 in Bhopal. Under his leadership, efforts are being made to drive industrial growth and employment generation.

CM Yadav’s international investment tour has played a pivotal role in securing commitments from major economies, including the UK, Germany, and Japan. His six-day visit to the UK and Germany in November 2024 resulted in ₹78,000 crore worth of investment proposals, strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s position as an emerging global business hub. During the visit, he facilitated the allotment of land in Acharpura, Bhopal, for a German technical unit, marking a significant step in Indo-German industrial collaboration.

Furthering his vision for a technology-driven Madhya Pradesh, CM Yadav led discussions on software and IT parks, with Woodpecker Software committing ₹1,100 crore in the chemical and IT sectors. His diplomatic efforts in Japan secured approval for the Japan-Madhya Pradesh Industrial Cooperation Forum, paving the way for a Japanese Industrial Park, Skill Development Center, and Smart Manufacturing Hub.

Confident in the state’s industrial potential, CM Yadav emphasized that Japan’s participation as a country partner at GIS will further strengthen economic ties and drive employment opportunities for Madhya Pradesh’s youth. His proactive approach continues to transform the state into an investment-friendly and technology-driven economic powerhouse.
