News India Live, Digital Desk: Bangalore-based Cybercharity Startup CloudSEK has raised $ 19 million (about ₹ 165 crore) in a new funding round to expand its AI-Poward Cyber Threvic Prediction platform. The latest Series B1 round first comes after the amount raised in Series A2 and includes Masmuchual Ventures, Infileser Ventures, Pran Ventures, Tenness Ventures and Strategic Investor Comvolt. Several initial supporters including Start Oxseed, Neon Fund and Exfinity Ventures are also made in it.
Established in 2015 by cyber security researcher Rahul Sasi, ClaudSEK has become one of the few Indian firms that manufacture “forecasted danger intelligence”. Reactive alerts and in the area dominated by forensic after the attack, the startup model is changing. This wants to help companies detect early warning indications of violations such as leaked login details or exposed APIs before it makes headlines.
A different approach on cyber security
While most of the threats detect them after intelligence devices occur, ClaudSEK’s approach is more focused on identifying the smoke before the fire occurred.
Sasi said, “We have created CloudSEK to predict the initial attack and prevent dangers before making headlines.” “Leak credentials, compromised sellers, exposed APIs, these are our red flags.”
Such an approach has helped the company gain over 250 customers in areas such as banking, healthcare and technology. According to internal data, 60 percent of the new revenue now comes from international markets, especially the US.
Rohit Razdan of Tensity Ventures called it “a great product based on state -of -the -art AI” and said that he is excited to support a global tech company manufactured in India.
The company’s Finance Vice President Kalyan Kumar Wattypalli said that in the last two years, the ARR of ClaudSEK has three times. He said, “This era has attracted significant interest. We will soon announce Series B2 to include new investors and allow initial investors to partial withdrawal.”
Global push with Indian roots
With fresh capital, CloudSEK plans to improve its AI model, add intensive platform integration and expand into global markets. The technology of the company is used to monitor everything from sellers compromise to leaked tokens. It is no surprise that global security teams are focusing on it.
CloudSEK has maintained a 4.8-star average rating in 195 reviews on Gartner Peer Insights, making it one of the most high-rating threats in the intel-the-rated Intel vendors.
CISO Dr. Durga Dubey in the Fortune Global 100 firm said briefly, “Preliminary information about dangers is no longer alternative. ClaudSEK’s predicted intelligence enters helps enter the story before the attackers.”
