The Meteorological Department said that in the last 24 hours, the daytime temperatures in western UP, Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh have decreased by 1-4 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir has increased by 1 to 4 degrees Celsius. . During the next 4 days, the minimum temperature in northwest India will increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius, while there will be no significant change in the minimum temperature in Central India during the next 3 days.

According to IMD warning, a western disturbance in the form of cyclonic circulation is pressurizing the northern Iran and surrounding areas, which will bring more moisture to the western Himalayan region. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during 25-28 February. Himachal Pradesh will receive heavy rains from 26 to 28 February and Uttarakhand from 27-28 February. Apart from this, snowfall alert has also been released.

According to IMD, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh may receive light to moderate rainfall from 26 February to 1 March. From 27 February to 1 March in western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, in western Rajasthan on 27-28 February, from 28 February to 1 March, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan will be cloudy. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands will rain from 24 to 26 February.
Cyclonic activity has intensified over the Bay of Bengal.
The Meteorological Department while giving meteorological updates said that the cyclone speed over the Bay of Bengal is intense. Due to cyclonic circulation, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will have a 30-40 kmph and cloudy thunderstorms on February 23. These states will also rain on 24 February. There will also be hailstorm in Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya. On February 23-24, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand.
