Cleanliness Drive Launched At Shivna Ghat

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A cleanliness drive was launched at Shivna Ghat situated at Pashupatinath Temple. Participants removed puja (worship) materials lying on the banks of the river and appealed to people to keep the ghats clean.

Offering their shramdaan, they collected the garbage scattered here and there and kept them in dustbins so that the same can be shifted from there.

Key figures, including MP Sudhir Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP Banshilal Gurjar and district panchayat president Durga Patidar, besides public representatives, social workers were present. The initiative will run for over 90 days, concluding on June 30.

Cabinet Minister Inaugurates Campaign

Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Cabinet Minister Nirmala Bhuria inaugurated Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan here at Udaipuriya Talab, Jhabua. The initiative, led by Water Resources Department, aims to deepen the pond, built in 1987 which currently irrigates 45 hectares.

Shramdaan Launched At Kunda River

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): MLA Balkrishna Patidar inaugurated Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. Under which, shramdaan was launched at Kunda river. Collector Bhavya Mittal, municipal council president Chhaya Joshi were present. The initiative aims to revive various water structures, including 27 Amrit Sarovars and 1,254 ponds, while also promoting sapling plantation.

Clean-Up Drive Launched To Revive River

Petlawad (Madhya Pradesh): The civic body launched a major clean-up campaign to rejuvenate Pampavati river on Sunday. The programme was inaugurated by municipal council president Lalita Gamd, alongside councillors and local dignitaries, during the auspicious Gudi Padwa. Notably, the campaign aimed at conservation and revival of water sources, rivers, ponds, wells, stepwells of urban bodies of the state.
