Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A class XI girl was eve teased by two bikers in full public view in the Chandan Nagar area on Saturday evening.
The girl was on her way home from a coaching institute when the accused allegedly kicked and later teased her. Police were clueless about the accused till the filing of the report.
According to the police, a 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint that she was walking home from her coaching institute when two bikers coming from the rear first kicked her and later teased her. The girl reached home and told her parents about the incident. Her parents spotted the accused roaming in the area.
The accused was identified by the girl. Some people chased him and caught his bike but the accused managed to flee from there. Chandan Nagar police station in-charge Indramani Patel informed Free Press that two youths have been identified and the police raided their places but they were not present there. A team has been constituted for the search of the accused. The girl informed the police that she doesn’t know the accused.
Man arrested for raping woman in hotel
Tilak Nagar police arrested a man from Dewas for allegedly raping a woman in a hotel. The accused was hiding in his village after changing his appearance.
According to Tilak Nagar police station in charge Manish Lodha, a case was registered against Rohit, a resident of Dewas on the complaint of a woman for raping her in a hotel on April 20. The police teams were searching for him when information was received that the accused was living in his village after changing his appearance to mislead the police. A police team reached his village Barotha in Dewas district and managed to arrest him.
