Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A class 12 student was hit by a vehicle over a long standing dispute, leading to his immediate death in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind, the police reported on Monday.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Shiv Rawat, a resident of  Raun. Lucky was traveling on a bike with his two friends, Samar Pratap Rajawat and Devesh Rajawat.

Suddenly, a Thar rammed into their bike. The accident caused immediate death to Shiv, while his friends Samar and Devesh got severely injured. The two are receiving treatment at a hospital in Gwalior at present.

It is alleged that three accused, Sumit Rajawat, Ram Rajawat, and Harsh Chaurasia deliberately hit the bike to take revenge over an old dispute that occurred six months ago.

The accused were planning to escape to Gwalior but were apprehended. They have confessed to the crime and a case of murder and attempted murder has been registered against them.

What was the conflict?

Lucky was a resident of Raun and lived with his mother, Kavita Rawat, a government school teacher and his maternal uncle. His father passed away in a road accident in Jaipur 7-8 years ago. Lucky, the only child of his family, was studying in a private school in Raun.

Six months ago, Lucky had a fight with Harsh Chaurasia and Sumit Rajawat in school. Following the altercation, the school expelled Sumit, and his father sent him to Gwalior. Sumit had been harboring a grudge since then and planned the attack with his friends, Harsh and Ram. They borrowed a Thar vehicle from an acquaintance in Gwalior, removed its number plate, and executed their plan.

Police launch investigation

TI Ashutosh Sharma stated that the school management will be questioned about why they did not report the previous incident to the police. Harsh Chaurasia, one of the accused, is a Class 12 student from Mihona, and his father is a businessman. Sumit Rajawat, from Mandawa village, is the son of a retired army officer, while Ram Rajawat also belongs to Mehdawa and comes from a farming family.
