Saharanpur: An 11th-class student had to pay a heavy price for trying to remove a Pakistani flag stuck on the road. The student was going on a scooter, when she saw that a Pakistani flag was stuck in the middle of the road, and vehicles were passing over. The student stopped her scooty and started trying to remove the flag from the road. However, she failed to remove it.
A passerby made a 12-second video of this entire incident and posted it on social media. The video has gone viral on social media. According to reports, on 29 April, in protest against the Pahalgam terrorist attack, some organisations had pasted the flag of Pakistan on the road, so that people could trample it under their feet.
After the video went viral, Hindu outfits got agitated and called it an anti-national act. The very next day, people from the “Kranti Sena” organisation reached the school and pressurised the management and demanded the expulsion of the student. They called it a case of treason.
Currently, the school administration has expelled the student from the school in view of the protests by Hindu organisations and the seriousness of the situation. The student belongs to the Muslim community and is said to be a resident of Gangoh area of Saharanpur.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, in response to India’s digital strike on Pakistani artists, The Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) has banned Indian songs from being played on FM radio stations throughout the country in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which claimed 26 innocent lives.
