Firing during the ongoing 1000 Kundi Yagya in Keshav Park of Kurukshetra, Haryana Done Private security personnel of Swami Hariom Das, the organizer of the Yagya program, have been accused of shooting three people. Three people injured by being shot have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, one of whom is said to be critical. According to the information received, some youths who came to join the Mahayagya complained of serving stale food, after which the dispute started. During this fight, the security personnel of Mahayagya organizer Hariom Das opened fire, injuring three youths.

The protesters blocked the road and threw stones.

A young man named Ashish Tiwari has been admitted to Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Civil Hospital in critical condition. On the other hand, angry with this incident, people of a particular caste blocked the Kurukshetra-Kaithal road outside the Mahayagya site and pelted stones. In view of the increasing number of protesters, the police took strictness and tried to end the jam. At present, a heavy police force has been deployed at the scene and the situation has been taken under control. However, the atmosphere is still tense. The police have appealed to the public to maintain peace and started investigating the incident.

 

Mahayagya began on 18 March.

This Mahayagya has started from 18 March and will run till 27 March. For this, 1008 Kundi Yagyashalas were made. One lakh sacrifices were being offered daily in Mahayagya. The mastermind behind this scheme is Hariom Das, known as Yajna Emperor. Till now he has organized 101 Mahayagya in 24 states across the country. His resolve is to organize 108 Mahayagya every year across India. Mahayagya, which started in Kurukshetra on 18 March, is the 102nd Mahayagya. Many big leaders like BJP state president Mohanlal Badoli, Chief Minister’s wife Suman Saini, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha have attended this Mahayagya.
