Sagar (Madhya Pradesh): Collector Sandeep GR has allotted duties regarding civil defence to joint collector Arti Yadav, joint collector Devendra Pratap Singh, sub-divisional officer of revenue JC Nagar Rohit Verma and other officials.
Civil defence has been set up to give information to the home ministry and to monitor an emergency situation.
There will be a control room whose number will be 07582-224543. A register, kept in the control room, will contain the information received from any person about any incident.
The letters sent by the senior officials from different departments will be available in the cell. The observation officer will be responsible to send the reply to these letters.
The cell will work round the clock. The responsibility of the observation will be to register the letters and other information. Another responsibility of the cell will be to inform the officials about any emergency situation.
Mayor reviews mass wedding ceremony preparations
Mayor Sangeeta Sushil Tiwari held a meeting with the councillors of Municipal Corporation on the premises of Balaji temple for the mass wedding of girls under Mukhya Mantri Kanyadaan Yojna.
The mass wedding will be organised Wednesday, official sources said. Tiwari reviewed the preparations for the ceremony. She told the councillors and officials of the civic body to ensure there are no problems during the wedding ceremony.
She asked the officials to remain present at venue before time.
