Pune Weather Update: City Records 8.9°C, Baramati 9°C, NDA 7.5°C, Magarpatta Records Highest Temperature in District with 15.4°C |

Cold wave has swept several parts of Maharashtra, with the minimum temperature slipping to single digit at several places in the state including Pune, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.

Baramati in Pune recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, while Pune city recorded 8.9 degrees Celsius.

Magarpatta recorded highest temperature 15.4 degrees Celsius.

The temperatures recorded across various locations in Pune district on a recent day vary significantly, ranging from a cool 7.5°C at NDA to a milder 15.4°C at Magarpatta. Other areas such as Lavale and Narayangaon reported temperatures of 15.2°C and 10.3°C, respectively, while places like Shivajinagar and Shirur recorded 8.9°C and 8.5°C. Chinchwad, Dapodi, and Pashan saw temperatures around 14.7°C, 13.1°C, and 13.9°C. Areas further out, such as Baramati and Malin, had temperatures hovering around 9°C to 11.6°C. Despite the chilly weather in several areas, temperatures in parts of Indapur and Bhor, which reached 9.7°C and 13.1°C, showed a relatively moderate trend. These varying temperatures reflect the diversity in climate conditions across the region.

On Tuesday, Lonavala recording the highest at 15.3 degrees Celsius. Other areas such as Wadgaon Sheri reached 15.2 degrees Celsius, Magarpatta reported 15.0 degrees Celsius, and Rajgurunagar recorded 10.3 degrees Celsius. Baramati and Bhor had temperatures of 7.8 degrees Celsius and 12.3 degrees Celsius, respectively, while Purandar stood at 10.7 degrees Celsius.
