CIDCO extends registration for housing scheme till Jan 10, 2025; 26,000 affordable homes available under PMAY in Navi Mumbai | Representational Image
Navi Mumbai: Online registration for CIDCO’s ‘My Preferred CIDCO Home’ housing scheme of 26,000 houses has been extended till 10th January, 2025. Under this housing scheme, 26,000 homes are made available under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Economically Weaker Sections and Lower Income Groups in Vashi, Bamandongari, Kharkopar, Kharghar, Taloja, Mansarovar, Khandeshwar, Panvel and Kalamboli nodes in Navi Mumbai.
On December 11, a record milestone of 1,00,000 applications was received as of. CIDCO had claimed it to be an indicator of the popularity of the scheme which has received an overwhelming response from the beginning. Considering the request made by the citizens the extension was then granted for online registration of the scheme up to 26 December, 2024.
With overwhelming response still pouring in, online application registration for the said housing scheme was extended till 10th January 2025. The housing scheme has provided an opportunity to experience an enriched lifestyle of Navi Mumbai coupled with excellent infrastructure, connectivity and quality construction, said CIDCO.
Also, the conditions of submitting the barcoded Domicile Certificate and the notarized affidavit on stamp paper valued Rs.100/- or Rs. 500/- was relaxed already by CIDCO. It had facilitated great number of citizens to apply for the scheme more conveniently. As per this scheme, for the first time ever, the applicant can choose the floor in which he wishes to have his house.
