Navi Mumbai: A computerized lottery draw for 13 plots under the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) scheme and the 22.5% scheme for Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) was successfully conducted on Thursday, at CIDCO Bhavan.
The draw was organized to allocate plots to PAPs whose lands and structures were acquired for the NMIA project and related developments.
On this occasion, several key officials were present, including Shantanu Goel, JMD; Suresh Mengade, Chief Vigilance Officer; Navnath Jare, Chief Land Survey Officer (NMIA); and Geetha Pillai, Chief General Manager (Transport and Airport), along with other concerned officials and employees.

“A total of 13 structure/plot holders were deemed eligible for the lottery draw. These included three plot holders whose structures were acquired for the 20-meter strip at Chinchapada Vitthalwadi, eight plot holders for structures acquired for NH-4B Amra Mahamarg, one plot holder for a structure acquired for the 70-meter Amra Marg, and one plot holder whose eligibility was consolidated due to the cancellation of a previous allotment under the 22.5% scheme,” a statement released by Cidco said.

“CIDCO has developed NMIA across 1160 hectares in Panvel tehsil of Raigad District, offering one of the best Rehabilitation Packages to PAPs, as approved by the Government of Maharashtra. This initiative ensures that affected residents receive fair compensation and proper resettlement as part of the NMIA project’s commitment to inclusive development,” a cidco official said.
