The Chinese Embassy in India has issued more than 8,500 visas between January 1 to April 9, 2025, reflecting an attempt to strengthen mutual relations between the two countries. Xu said in a post that by April 9, 2025, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in India have issued more than 85,000 visas. The figure is the first four months of 2025, while a total of 1,80,000 visas were released in 2023. Last year, the Chinese Embassy gave several significant discounts in the visa application process.
Visa discounts for Indian applicants:
