The differences between the US and the European Union (EU) over the Ukraine war are deepening. Especially, the situation has become more tense after the heated noises in the recent meeting of US President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky. China’s Parliament National People’s Congress (NPC) spokesman Lau Kinjian said in a press conference on Tuesday that China is against unilateral decisions and wants to strengthen cooperation with the European Union. It is being seen as China’s policy of finding a ‘opportunity in disaster’.
