Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Sunday saw a steep fall in day temperature across the state as weather department said no major change in the weather could be expected in next three days. The mercury level will rise gradually after that. Bhopal recorded drop of 5.2 degrees in day temperature and settled at 21.8 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
Its night temperature was 14.4 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded 4.8-degree drop in day temperature and settled at 22.4 degrees Celsius while its night temperature was 13.5 degrees Celsius. Umaria recorded 9.1-degree drop while Damoh registered 8.6-degree drop.
The drop was 6.8 degrees in Satna. Khajuraho registered 6.6-degree drop in day temperature. Jabalpur recorded 6.7-degree, Tikamgarh recorded 5.3-degree while Rewa registered drop of 4.8 degrees.
Moderate fog prevailed in Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Sheopur Kalan, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam and Agar district. Shallow fog prevailed in west Shivpuri, Ujjain, Shajapur, Rajgarh, Bhopal, Guna, Chhatarpur, Panna, Mauganj, north Satna, Sagar and Vidisha district. The visibility at Gwalior Airport was 200 metres.
Rainfall was recorded at isolated places in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, Sagar and Chambal division. An alert has been issued for thunderstorm and lightning in Narmadapuram, Betul, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Maihar, Pandhurna district.
