Mumbai News: Children Sustain Injuries While Playing On Unsafe Bouncy Castle At Eid Fair In Jogeshwari (VIDEO) | Pinterest

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, three to five children were injured while playing on a bouncy castle during Eid celebrations. The incident occurred on the day of Eid, March 31, at a fair organised for the festival.

The injuries were reportedly caused by to lack of safety measures by the bouncy castle operator. The children, who suffered fractures and other injuries, were immediately taken to Cooper Hospital in Juhu for treatment. After receiving the necessary care, the children were discharged and sent home, as per the report by Gallinews.

Two people died In two Separate Road Accidents

On Monday, two separate road accidents in Mumbai resulted in fatalities. In Santacruz (East), an auto-rickshaw driver, who was driving on the wrong side of the road, collided with a pedestrian, leading to his death.

The victim, identified as Vijay Gurav, a 49-year-old hospital technician, was walking to visit relatives when the accident occurred. Around 5 p.m., as Gurav was crossing Nehru Road, an auto-rickshaw, coming from the wrong direction near Santacruz Railway Station, struck him, causing him to fall and suffer a head injury.

In another incident in Jogeshwari (West), a 56-year-old female teacher was killed in a hit-and-run. The Vakola police have arrested the auto-rickshaw driver involved in the Santacruz accident, 26-year-old Imran Abdul Ansari, in connection with the incident.

Bystanders rushed Vijay Gurav to the nearby VN Desai Hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The auto-rickshaw driver, Imran Abdul Ansari, was also taken to the hospital by the crowd and handed over to the police officers on duty there.

According to the FIR, the second victim, a 56-year-old teacher named Dhongade, lived in Dominic Colony, Malad (West), and worked at Anup High School in Jogeshwari (West). On the day of the accident, her husband, Nitin Dhongade, 60, was driving her to school when the tragic hit-and-run occurred.
