Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma unveiled new policies to give impetus to the all-round development of the state in a function organized at the Chief Minister’s Office on Wednesday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that these policies are an important step towards making Rajasthan the leading state of the country. This will not only attract investment but will also provide employment opportunities to lakhs of youth. Innovations and new experiments have been included in these policies, which will ensure economic progress, prosperity and employment generation of the state.

The Chief Minister said that apart from being a roadmap for our state, these policies are also an important basis for increasing the investment coming in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. This is a new chapter for the development of the state, through which it will help in creating an investment friendly environment in the state and achieving the goal of doubling the economy of the state. Calling upon industrialists and investors to become partners in the development journey of the state, he said that our resolve is for ‘Developed Rajasthan’, and these policies reflect our commitment in that direction.

The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan MSME Policy-2024 will enable the micro, small and medium enterprises of the state to compete in the global market. This will provide assistance to MSMEs in additional interest subsidy on loans, technical upgradation and quality certification.

Sharma said that the new policy brought to promote exports will help exporters in documentation, technical upgradation and participation in international events. This will reduce logistics costs and Rajasthan’s products will be able to gain recognition at the global level. The Chief Minister said that the ODOP policy has been brought to promote specific products and crafts of the districts of the state, which will increase the income of artisans, craftsmen, farmers and product manufacturers. With the help of this policy, integrated infrastructure will be developed for ODOP products and they will also get various types of financial assistance. Sharma said that the productivity and quality of artisans and small scale industries will be improved through cluster based development in the state. Through this, the productivity, quality and efficiency of handicrafts, handloom and MSME sectors in the state will be increased and they will be developed in line with the global market.

The Chief Minister said that ABGC&XR Policy-2024 is being implemented with the aim of making Rajasthan a leader in the field of animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality. This policy will encourage the local talents of the state. Also, Atal Innovation Studio and Accelerator will be set up to promote innovation in this sector.

Sharma said that tourism industry has an important contribution in the economy of the state. Rajasthan Tourism Unit Policy-2024 has been brought to give a new direction to tourism in the state. Through this policy, establishment of tourism units in the private sector has been encouraged by attracting investors and entrepreneurs related to tourism.

The Chief Minister said that the state is a leading state in the production of renewable energy and there is unlimited potential for solar energy and wind energy. Along with MoUs worth Rs 2 lakh 24 thousand crore in the energy sector, the state government signed investment agreements worth more than Rs 6.5 lakh crore in the energy sector in the Rising Rajasthan Pre Summit. To strengthen this sector and create a positive environment for investment, the state government has come up with Integrated Clean Energy Policy-2024. Through this policy, renewable energy, biomass and waste to energy, green hydrogen and energy storage projects will be promoted in the state.

Sharma said that Rajasthan is one of the major mineral producing states of the country. There are reserves of 82 types of minerals, out of which 58 are being mined on a commercial scale. Through the new mineral policy, a target has been set to increase the share of mineral sector in the state’s GDP from the current 3.4 percent to five percent by 2029-30 and to eight percent by 2046-47.

The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan M-Sand Policy-2024 has been implemented to promote the use of M-Sand instead of gravel in construction works. This will promote the use of M-Sand and environmental protection in the state and will reduce the construction cost.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is going to organize an investment conference in the very first year to promote investment in the state. These policies will prove helpful in making ease of doing business effective in the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa said that the state is emerging as an important center of innovation and investment through the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. Investment friendly policies will prove to be a milestone in taking the state forward on the path of progress.

Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore said that export promotion policy is being implemented to promote exports in the state. Through which provisions have been made for the convenience of exporters. Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Hiralal Nagar said that as per the vision of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2024 has been prepared in the direction of making the state a leading state in the field of energy.

It is noteworthy that to accelerate the industrial development of the state, the program includes Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024, Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy-2024, Rajasthan One District One Product Policy 2024, Integrated Cluster Development Plan, Rajasthan XR Policy 2024, Rajasthan Tourism Unit Policy 2024. , Rajasthan Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2024, Rajasthan Mineral Policy 2024 and Rajasthan M-Sand Policy 2024 were unveiled. Stalls of new policies were displayed in the exhibition organized on this occasion.
